Patrick Stark, CFP®
Mr. Stark serves as the lead advisor for a number of the firm’s clients and is also RS Crum’s Director of Financial Planning.
Pat joined the firm in 2011 after spending over 20 years in the aerospace and technology industries, where he held a variety of positions in program management, engineering, operations management, and plant management.
Well versed in all aspects of financial planning, Pat works closely with all of our advisors while handling a wide array of financial planning issues for clients. He is a member of both the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). Pat serves on the advisory board of UCLA’s Personal Financial Planning program and is a frequent guest speaker at UCLA financial planning classes. Pat also provides financial counseling to military personnel and their families during various phases of deployment and reintegration.
Mr. Stark has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from U.C. Davis, a Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from UCLA, and a series 65 Investment Adviser license from the NASAA.
Pat was born in Colorado but has lived most of his life in California. He grew up in a small town called Paradise (yes, Paradise!) about 100 miles North of Sacramento. After attending college in Davis, he moved to Southern California and currently lives in Long Beach with his wife and son.
Pat enjoys running, swimming, biking, skiing, beach volleyball, and pretty much anything that gets him outside. He and his family love visiting national parks and have great memories of Yellowstone, Death Valley, Yosemite, Zion, and Joshua Tree. A lifelong Raiders fan, he still reminisces about their Super Bowl seasons and has nightmares of the infamous “Tuck Rule” game.
One goal I’m saving for:
“A helicopter – the commute from Long Beach to Newport Beach is brutal!”
