Jon Theriault, MBA, CKA®, CFP®

Mr. Theriault is a co-owner of RS Crum and serves as Senior Financial Advisor to many of the firm’s clients.
Jon joined RS Crum in 2008 after 13 years of providing specialized financial advisory services to business owners, including running his own mergers and acquisitions firm. As a result, he has a unique understanding of the emotional and complex decisions that impact business owners and families as they contemplate major transitional events.
Mr. Theriault is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) as well as a Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA®), the latter of which aligns with his passion for providing biblically wise financial advice. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), and is a Charter Board Member of The Center for Investment and Wealth Management (CIWM) at UC Irvine.
Jon regularly volunteers his time to provide personal financial advice through his local church, schools and community. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Los Alamitos Education Foundation (LAEF). Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona and an MBA in Finance from Pepperdine University.
Jon lives in Seal Beach with his wife and three children. He enjoys playing golf and supporting local youth sports teams, where he is currently coaching his daughter’s softball team in Los Alamitos. With their kids getting a bit older, the Theriault family is planning to travel as much as they possibly can knowing college is right around the corner.
One goal I’m saving for:

“Our children’s education is incredibly important to us. We have consistently been making contributions to their 529 education plans since they were little. Saving for college brings my wife and I comfort in knowing resources will be there for them when the time comes. Our goal is to help them avoid having any debt as they start their careers.”
